Biological Activity

Description PDTC (Pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate ammonium) is a potent nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) inhibitor that inhibits IκB phosphorylation, blocks NF-κB translocation to the nucleus and reduces the expression of downstream cytokines.

In vitro Ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (PDTC) can inhibit the role of NF-κB by inhibiting IκB phosphorylation, thus blocking NF-κB translocation to the nucleus, reducing the expression of downstream cytokines.
