Anti-mouse TIM-3 (CD366)-InVivo monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse TIM-3 (T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-3) also known as CD366. TIM-3 is specifically expressed at high levels on the surface of Th1 lymphocytes. This B8.2C12 antibody binds to the BALB/c allele of TIM-3 while reactivity to the C57Bl/6 allele. Inhibition of TIM-3 signalling in mice exacerbates experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis and promotes IFNγ production and Th1 cell proliferation.
